They were light, fun, and sized right and offered a user-friendly power delivery. And now we’re introducing a new street scrambler-style machine that’s just as much fun, The Honda SCL500. The SCL500’s 471cc 8-valve, liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine is smooth, easy to use and thoroughly engaging. It features revised PGM-FI fuel injection mapping, and a new intake and exhaust setup that deliver engaging power and torque.
- Assist & Slipper Clutch Control
The engine's clutch is designed to help you ride with confidence. It assists with a light lever load and makes for smoother, easier gear changes up and down. And you don't have to juggle engine RPM or worry about rear wheel lock-ups on multiple down changes -- the bike's slipper function handles that for you.
Chassis & Suspension- No-Nonsense, Raw & Tough Styling
The SCL500's head-turning style pays homage to the original Honda CL.
